Xuan Ye

Xuan Ye is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems at the Carroll School of Management, Boston College. Her primary research interests lie at the intersection of IS and economics (particularly labor economics, organizational economics and urban economics). In her dissertation, she develops new, detailed measures of companies' management practices by collecting novel data and employing state-of-the-art analysis techniques on these data sets. She studies how modern firms use non-monetary compensation to incentivize and attract high-skilled technical employees. Her research has been published in a number of leading conferences including ICIS, and has been featured in several media outlets including Harvard Business Review.
