Yong-Suk Lee

Yong Suk Lee is the SK Center Fellow at Stanford University's Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies and is affiliated with the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center. Previously, Dr. Lee was Assistant Professor of Economics at Williams College. Dr. Lee's research intersects the fields of economic development, urban economics, and international economics. His recent works examine entrepreneurship and economic growth in cities, the impact of economic sanctions on North Korea's urban elites, and the impact of education policy on migration and intergenerational mobility. He received his bachelor's degree and master's degree in architecture from Seoul National University, a master of public policy from Duke University, and doctorate in economics from Brown University.
