Yongseok Shin

Yongseok Shin is Professor of Economics at Washington University in St. Louis, and Research Fellow at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He is a macroeconomist, but his research draws heavily on micro-level data and emphasizes how the decision making by individual workers and firms shapes the aggregate economy. His earlier research focused on the role of financial markets in economic development. His current projects study the impact of technological progress on economic inequality.
