Yoshiro Tsutsui

Professor of Economics at Kyoto Bunkyo University

Yoshiro Tsutsui is Professor of Economics at Kyoto Bukyo University. He obtained Ph.D. in economics from Osaka University in 1989. He previously taught at Konan University, Osaka University, and Nagoya City University. He has served as President of the Association of Behavioral Economics and Finance (2007-2009), President of the Japan Society of Monetary Economics (2008-2010), and as a visiting scholar at Yale University, UC San Diego and University of Amsterdam, and also as a research fellow at the Institute for Posts and Telecommunications Policy, the Research Institute of Economy, Trade & Industry, and the Policy Research Institute, Ministry of Finance. His primary areas of teaching and research are behavioral economics and banking and finance.
