Yossi Spiegel is a Full Professor at the faculty of Management at Tel Aviv University, a Research Fellow at the CEPR and ZEW, and serves as the president of the Israeli Economic Association. His fields of specialization and research include industrial organisation, economics of regulation and antitrust, and corporate finance. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University (1991), M.A. in Economics from Tel Aviv University (1987), and B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University (1985).
Before joining Tel Aviv University he was a member of technical staff at the Economics Research Group at Bell Communication Research for three years. He is a Co-editor of the International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, and Foundations and Trends.
