Yuki Higuchi

Yuki Higuchi is an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Economics, Nagoya City University and a project member at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry. His previous experience was as a project researcher at the University of Tokyo (2014-2015) and research associate at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) (2014-2015). He received an MA in International Development Studies and a Ph.D. in Development Economics from GRIPS. He has refereed articles in publications including China Economic Review, World Development, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. He also has published a Japanese language literature in the Keizai Seminar Special Issue on Evolution of Empirical Economics. He has presented in numerous conferences and seminars around the world including the Annual Bank Conference on Development Economics 2016, which was held at the headquarters of the World Bank. He is a member of the Japan Economic Association, East Asian Economic Association, American Economic Association, and Econometric Society.
