Yvonne McCarthy is an economist at the Central Bank of Ireland and the Deputy Head of the Financial Stability Division. She holds a PhD from University College Dublin. Her research interests include macroprudential policy calibration and evaluation, housing markets, household indebtedness and default risk. She is particularly interested in the insights micro level data can bring to these issues.
