CEPR will appoint representations in several European capitals with the purpose of providing a regional platform for CEPR Researchers and to deepen its local ties into the academic and policy communities. The regional representations may leverage CEPR activities as well as promote new joint initiatives.

The first Representative Office was announced in Brussels on the 10th of January 2019 at ECARES, led by CEPR Representative Bram De Rock. 

Bram de RockBram De Rock is director of the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES) located in Brussels. He is professor of economics at the Universite libre de Bruxelles and University of Leuven. He is also an Honorary Senior Research Associate at University College London (UCL) and an International research fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS). His research focuses on household consumption and labour supply decisions.

On Thursday January 10, CEPR started the celebrations of its 35th anniversary with a panel meeting in Brussels, bringing together great minds to reflect on 35 years of economics in Europe and the role CEPR has played and should play in the challenges ahead.
