CEPR announces the creation of three new Programme Areas
Monday, June 15, 2015
The International Macroeconomics Programme is being replaced by three new Programme Areas to create opportunities for more specialised research and networking opportunities. The three new Programme Areas are:
- International Macroeconomics and Finance (IMF), led by Giancarlo Corsetti
- Monetary Economics and Fluctuations (MEF), led by Wouter den Haan
- Macroeconomics and Growth (MG), led by Antonio Ciccone
The Programme Directors have reallocated the researchers in the old IM programme into the three new programmes.
Though ESSIM will continue to take place each year as an umbrella event for the three Programmes combined, each new Programme will have its own Symposium.
This redefinition will foster a better relationship between the Centre, the Programme Directors, and researchers.
