Mathias Dewatripont appointed vice-governor of National Bank of Belgium

Mathias Dewatripont, CEPR's first ever Research Director, has replaced Françoise Masai as Vice-Governor of the National Bank of Belgium (NBB).

Dewatripont, who is a CEPR Research Fellow in the Financial Economics and Industrial Organization programme areas, has been a director at the NBB since 2011, and is Belgium's representative on the European Central Bank's supervisory board.
