New Director for CEPR’s Public Economics Programme
Camille Landais will replace Henrik Kleven as Programme Director of CEPR’s Public Economics Programme as of July 1st 2017. Camille Landais is Professor of Economics in the economics department at the LSE. He received his PhD from the Paris School of Economics and was a post-doctoral fellow in Stanford University before joining the LSE in 2012. His research explores various topics in public economics, from the design of tax and social insurance systems to gender inequality. He is co-editor of the Journal of Public Economics and an associate editor at the Review of Economic Studies.
Henrik is moving from LSE to Princeton over the summer and so will step down as Programme Director. He has played a major role in renewing the focus of the PE programme, for which CEPR thanks him enormously.
