Tuesday, June 19, 2012

The research undertaken during the project fell into two main parts: the first advanced the frontier of knowledge concerning the production of knowledge in a global world; the second examined the effect of globalisation on the organisation of firms, and in particular their use of knowledge and the implications it has for productivity, employment and competitiveness. The goal was to assess the interactions between science, innovation and production in a unified way. This final policy report highlights key research and findings.
