The Second CEPR Workshop on Incentives, Management and Organisation, will take place in London, Thursday 26 and Friday 27 September 2013. The event is joint with the IGC Firm Capabilities programme and STICERD (London School of Economics).

This workshop series brings together researchers interested in studying what happens inside firms and other organizations. It covers areas such as personnel economics, organizational economics, management and productivity, and incentives and contracts. We welcome theory, empirics, and experiments in these and related areas.

The theme of the second edition of the workshop is Organisations, Productivity and Development. The keynote speakers will be:

  • Abhijit Banerjee, MIT
  • Robert Gibbons, MIT

The best new paper submitted to the workshop will receive the newly established Deutsche Bahn Prize for Outstanding Research in Organisation and Management. The prize carries a €3,000 award.
