The fourth CEPR Annual Meeting of the International Macroeconomics Programme (IMF) will take place 14-15 November 2019 and will be hosted by the European Central Bank.

The International Macroeconomics and Finance (IMF) Programme is one of the three successors to the International Macroeconomics (IM) Programme, and this meeting replaces the Macroeconomics of Global Interdependence (MGI) Meeting.

We invited submissions on the following topics (deadline closed):

  • lnternational macroeconomics and stabilisation policy
  • lInternational financial architecture, including global financial safety nets
  • Currency and financial/debt crises
  • Exchange rates, policy regimes and currency unions
  • Trade, protectionism, and macroeconomic dynamics
  • Currency and international financial markets
  • Capital flows, risk taking and financial fragility
  • Effects of capital controls
  • Credit markets and economic activity in the open economy
