All seminars take place on Wednesdays at 4PM CET (Rome time) on Zoom.

The CEPR Virtual IO Seminar (VIOS) was created to provide an alternative to IO seminars cancelled due to travel restrictions brought on by the Coronavirus. The long-run goal, however, is to turn it into a permanent platform for sharing the benefits of regular IO seminars. Seminars are balanced between both theoretical and empirical approaches to IO.

Each seminar lasts for up to 60 minutes. The speaker's presentation lasts for 45 minutes. There are one or two discussants that speak first after the paper to spur the debate, followed by questions from the audience. Each seminar is moderated by the session host.

Further details on how to join the VIOS mailing list and seminar rules can be found on the VIOS Webpage here
