ESSIM 1996 will bring together between fifty and sixty participants for a period of four and a half days to discuss on-going research in international macroeconomics. There will be two plenary sessions each morning in which the papers with the most general appeal will be presented. The afternoon activities will be more specialized: two parallel meetings each of two sessions devoted to the discussion of a more specialized paper. The time during the afternoon between the plenary and the parallel session will be available for participants to interact and work together.
