The CEPR Annual meeting of the Macroeconomics and Growth programme will be hosted and co-organised by the University of Manchester on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 November 2018. The organisers are Francesco Caselli (London School of Economics and CEPR) and Akos Valentinyi (University of Manchester and CEPR).
 
The keynote speaker is Richard Rogerson (Princeton University).
 
We now invite submissions from interested researchers on any topic within the area of Macroeconomics and Growth. The deadline for submission is 6pm (UK time), Friday 31 August 2018. Only full-length papers will be considered.
 
The Macroeconomics and Growth (MG) Programme is one of the three successors to the old International Macroeconomics (IM) Programme.
 
Research in the MG programme covers long-run macroeconomic issues including:
  • Economic growth;
  • Inequality;
  • Political economy;
  • Structural change;
  • Macroeconomic aspects of development.
The organisers can cover accommodation and travel according to the CEPR guidelines for all presenters and a limited number of general participants.
