Fintech and Digital Currencies RPN Annual Meeting 2025

 

The CEPR Research and Policy Network on Fintech and Digital Currencies is inviting submissions for its second annual meeting. The meeting is organised by CEPR jointly with the Study Center Gerzensee, a foundation of the Swiss National Bank. The meeting will be held in Gerzensee, Switzerland, on 9–10 October 2025. 

Topics of interest include all subjects broadly related to the RPN’s focus, including money, banking, payments, and the weaponization of the payment system.
 

Facilities and Travel Logistics
Presenters and discussants may request travel support according to the CEPR Travel Guidelines. Please note that there is some funding available but due to budgetary constraints, we would be grateful if you could indicate whether you have your own funds to cover your travel when submitting your application.

Paper Submissions
Applicants may submit a paper or apply to participate without submitting a paper. Please kindly note that participants are expected to be present for the whole duration of the conference.

Authors are encouraged to submit original research papers by visiting CEPR’s submission portal.

Submissions Deadline: Sunday 1 June 2025 (11:59 PM CEST)

Authors who already have a CEPR HUB profile can upload their submission by: 
1. Going to https://hub.cepr.org/ and logging in 
2. After you have logged in, go to https://hub.cepr.org/event/4430
3. Click on "Step 1: Apply" 
4. Under "Apply to Attend" click "Yes" 
5. Tick the boxes that apply to you 
6. Tick "Would you like to submit a paper?", upload your paper and supply the requested information 
7. Click "Submit form" to make the submission. 
 
Authors who do not have a CEPR HUB profile can upload their submission by: 
1. Creating a new profile here https://hub.cepr.org/user/register
2. After you have logged in, go to https://hub.cepr.org/event/4430
3. Click on "Step 1: Apply" 
4. Under "Apply to Attend" click "Yes" 
5. Tick the boxes that apply to you 
6. Tick "Would you like to submit a paper?", upload your paper and supply the requested information 
7. Click "Submit form" to make the submission.
