Bocconi University Algorand Fintech Lab jointly with CEPR Research and Policy Network on FinTech and Digital Currencies organised a two-day conference on The Future of Payments and Digital Assets at Bocconi University on 14–15 September 2023.

The goal of the conference was to contribute to the debate between researchers, regulators and policymakers on topics related to:

  •  Digital currencies and their regulation
  • The effect of new payment systems on financial intermediation
  •  Digital assets and their impact on financial markets
  • The value added of Distributed Ledger Technologies.
