The University of Liverpool will host a Workshop on Macroeconomics on May 22-23, 2025. The organising committee cordially invites submissions of high-quality theoretical or empirical research on any topic related to macroeconomics. Both completed papers and extended abstracts will be considered.
We particularly encourage submissions of new work on the following topics:
• Heterogeneity
• Monetary policy
• Labour Markets
• Inflation Dynamics
• International Macroeconomics
Confirmed keynote speaker:
• Leonardo Melosi (Professor of Economics at University of Warwick, Academic Advisor at the De Nederlandsche Bank and CEPR Research Fellow)
Prospective speakers should submit their papers by Friday, February 28, 2025, at the latest. Please submit your paper or extended abstract to [email protected]. Notification of acceptance will be provided by the end of March 2025. Please note that the event will be held in-person only.
In your submission email, please also indicate whether you require any funding support. Some funding might be available for travel and/or accommodation expenses for participants presenting papers and will be awarded on a discretionary basis.
