The conference will be held in Milan, Italy, on 12-13 October 2009, with funding and support from the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM). Paper proposals are invited on any aspect of urban and regional economics.
This will be the first edition of CURE, an annual conference that will bring together a group of about 30 urban and regional economists from across the world. It is envisioned that it will alternate across the Atlantic, being held in Europe on odd years and in the North America on even years. When held in Europe, CURE will be organized through the International and Regional Economics Programme of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).
The programme will run for 2 days (from the morning of Monday October 12th until the afternoon of Tuesday 13th, with arrival on Sunday October 11th).
