This is the Sixth CEPR Conference on Applied Industrial Organization which will be part-funded by the European Commission's Marie Curie Actions for Conferences and Training Courses (Series of Events- SCF, contract under negotiation); the European Patent Office; Lexecon; INNO-tec; Ludwig-Maximilians University; and the Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforshung .

This series aims to contribute to an analytical understanding of the issues raised by the new economy and their impacts on the wealth of economies and peoples, develop empirical protocols and tests of economic models, promote the exchange and the dissemination of results at the forefront of research, and finally, re-evaluate current competition and regulation policies.
