Al Slivinski is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Western Ontario. He has served as a member of the Research Advisory Board at Independent Sector, based in Washington, D.C., and held Visiting Faculty positions with the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy, the University of Toronto Department of Economics, and the Wallis Institute for Political Economy at the University of Rochester. His current research covers various aspects of public economics, including the private provision of public goods and the political economy of government subsidization of private enterprise.
