Benny Kleinman is a Saieh Family Fellow at the Becker Friedman Institute, University of Chicago. In July 2024, he will join Stanford University's Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor. He obtained his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2023. Benny's research focuses on secular changes in the structure of the economy and their distributional implications, combining tools from the intersection of international trade, macroeconomics, and spatial economics.
