Mr. Davis is a managing director, portfolio manager and head of client analytics in the Newport Beach office. As head of client analytics, he focuses on delivering innovative investment research and tailoring solutions for PIMCO’s institutional and high-net-worth investors. He is a member of PIMCO’s quantitative portfolio management team and serves as a member of the quantitative investment committee. He has managed portfolios, conducted research and published extensively on a broad range of investment topics, including alternative risk premia, asset allocation and risk mitigation strategies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, he was a consulting strategist with Prime International Trading in Chicago. He has 16 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in economics with an emphasis on macroeconomics and finance from Northwestern University, where he also earned his master's degree. He holds undergraduate degrees in pure mathematics and management science from the University of California, San Diego.
