Kent Matthews is the Sir Julian Hodge Professor of Banking and Finance at Cardiff Business School. He has been was an Economic Adviser, Bank of England in 1984. His PhD in Economics is from University of Liverpool. He has written widely on the interwar economy and macroeconomics more generally.
