I am a professor of economics at LMU Munich and director of the ifo Center for International Economics. I am a research affiliate at CEPR and CESifo, principal investigator at the Collaborative Research Center SFB CRC TRR 190 from the German Research Foundation and a faculty member of the Munich Graduate School of Economics.
I serve as associate editor of the Review of International Economics (Wiley, since 2021) and International Economics (Elsevier, since 2017) .
My main area of research is international economics.
