Marco Grazzi

Professor of Economic Policy at Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore

Marco Grazzi is full professor of Economic Policy at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan. His research focuses on the role of firms in shaping aggregate industry and country dynamics. To this end, his works embrace a number of fields such as international trade, firm growth and its relation to innovation. He is currently focusing on the role of the latest wave of innovations (robot, AI and digital technologies) in shaping firm and employment dynamics. He earned his PhD at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa. Over the years he visited several institutions: Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, EPFL (Switzerland), University of Cambridge (UK) and University of Notre Dame (US). He is associate editor at Industrial and Corporate Change and at the Journal of Industrial and Business Economics. He has also served in the editorial board of other journals and has been reviewer and consultant for several agencies including ILO, EU Commission, Swiss National Science Foundation, SSHRC Canada, MUR Italy.
