Marco Pangallo

Marco Pangallo is a JSMF Postdoctoral Fellow at the Sant'Anna School for Advanced Studies, Pisa, Italy. He is part of the Institute of Economics and of the EMbeDS (Economics and Management in the era of Data Science) department. Marco obtained his PhD in Mathematics at the University of Oxford, being part of the Complexity Economics group of the Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School. Marco is generally interested in understanding the economy quantitatively through a combination of data-driven and theoretical approaches. In his postdoc, he is exploring the potential of Agent-Based Models to forecast relevant economic variables. Marco is also working on game theory, housing markets and business cycles.
