Pietro Sancassani is a junior economist at the ifo Institute in Munich, Germany, and a Ph.D. candidate at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. His research interests are Education, Labor, and Political Economics. He is currently working on understanding how cultural factors affect student achievement, on the impact of teacher characteristics on student achievement, and how politicians’ debates respond to an increase in the salience of a topic. He obtained his Master's degree from Bocconi University.
