The organisers and scientific committee of the 24th CEPR Conference on Applied Industrial Organization (IO) are writing to invite you to submit a paper or to express your interest in attending the conference. We are planning for the 24th CEPR/JIE Conference on Applied Industrial Organization to take place in Toulouse, France. The conference will be organised by Giulia Brancaccio (New York University Stern School of Business and CEPR), Martin O’Connell (University of Wisconsin, Madison and CEPR) and Andrew Rhodes (Toulouse School of Economics and CEPR). The local organisers are Isis Durrmeyer (Toulouse School of Economics and CEPR) and Mathias Reynaert (Toulouse School of Economics and CEPR)

The event will take place in Toulouse, France, on 30 May - 31 May 2024. Financial support for the conference is generously provided by CEPR, the Journal of Industrial Economics (JIE) and Toulouse School of Economics. 

Conference Details:
The Applied IO conference series seeks to contribute to the understanding of the breadth of topics analysed within the field of Industrial Organization, including demand analysis, productivity, competition in the short- and long-run, innovation, investment, and auctions, to develop empirical protocols and tests of economic models, to promote the exchange and the dissemination of results at the forefront of research, and finally, to evaluate current competition and regulation policies. It will cover the state of the art in both theoretical and empirical Industrial Organization.
