Lena Hensvik appointed to the Advisory Council for Arbetsförmedlingen, the Swedish Public Employment Service

CEPR Researcher Lena Hensvik for her appointment to the Scientific Advisory Board of the Arbetsförmedlingen, the Swedish Public Employment Service. This Scientific council brings together external researchers with in-depth knowledge of the labour market and labour market policiy activities and support the Swedish Public Employment Services in accessing and applying the latest research in the field.

Lena Hensvik is a Research Affiliate for CEPR's Labour Economics programme. She is also a Professor at the Department of Economics at Uppsala University and a member of Uppsala Center for Labor Studies. She holds a PhD in Economics from Uppsala University and her research is focused on labor economics, with a current interest in job search, worker mobility and wage determination.
