Research Policy Networks (RPN)

CEPR established Research and Policy Networks with the aim building a community of researchers around a particular topic and to ensure that policy issues are considered over a longer time period than is often the case when a single piece of output is produced, when the researchers involved move on thereafter.

An RPN consists of 15-30 experts with an interest in a topic of high policy relevance and where academic research and collaboration with policymakers can have a high impact. It draws its CEPR Fellows and Affiliates from different Programmes, and can also appoint CEPR Associate Fellows for the duration of the Network’s term. Associate Fellows can be academics with the potential to be appointed as Affiliates or Fellows, or they can be experts in policy institutions who are committed to contributing to the Network. The Network may open a debate page on CEPR's policy platform VoxEU and may produce output in the form of eBooks or Policy Insights.
