Ferdinando Giugliano is a journalist and an economist. He was spokesperson and speechwriter to Italy’s Prime Minister, Mario Draghi. Beforehand he was a columnist and a member of the editorial board of Bloomberg Opinion, writing on the European economy. He was also a columnist for La Repubblica, one of Italy’s leading newspapers. Between 2011 and 2015, Ferdinando was a leader writer, an editor and a reporter for the Financial Times in London. Ferdinando holds a M.Phil. and D.Phil. in Economics from the University of Oxford and worked as a consultant for the CEPR, the Bank of Italy and the Economist Intelligence Unit.
