Gyöngyi Loranth is a Professor of Finance at the University of Vienna, member of the Vienna Graduate School of Finance (VGSF) and a CEPR Research Fellow. She received her PhD in Economics from Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona and from Université Libre de Bruxelles. Her previous appointments include the London Business School and the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Loranth’s research interests focus on financial intermediation, financial regulation and corporate governance. Her reseach has been published in leading academic journals including the Review of Financial Studies, Review of Finance, Journal of Business and Management Science.
