Haiqing Xu is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, University of Texas at Austin. Xu earned his B.A. in Management (2000), M.S. in Economics (2005) from Peking University, China, and Ph.D in Economics (2011) from the Penn State University. His research is in theoretical and applied econometrics. His recent interests have focused on identification and estimation in nonseparable models with discrete endogeneous variables and on large discrete games with asymmetric information. The former applies to policy evaluation and the structrual IO, and the latter to social interactions.
