Newly initiated research group Structural Transformation and Economic Growth (STEG), (https://steg.cepr.org/) and the Centre for Economic Policy and Research were pleased to announce a research workshop on "Home Production, Labour Markets, and Structural Transformation."

In this workshop, we aimed to bring together leading economists in macro and micro development to discuss the linkages between home production, market work, and structural transformation in the development process. We emphasized papers that address structural change in the labor market in developing countries or in developed countries in historical perspective, links between home and market work, and trends in female labor force participation over the development process.

Paper submissions closed on Friday 31 July 2020.
