Covid Economics: The Future of Offshoring

People are being encouraged to work from home during the current crisis and Jonathan Dingel (Chicago University) points out that a shift towards asynchronous working between colleagues would make it possible to distribute work across a much larger geographical scope and allow for more international offshoring.
