Adrianna Murphy

Associate Professor of Health Systems Research and Policy at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine

Adrianna Murphy is an Associate Professor of Health Systems Research and Policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and co-Director of the School’s Centre for Global Chronic Conditions. She currently holds a UKRI Future Research Leader Fellowship to study health systems responses to chronic diseases in low- and middle-income and crisis-affected settings. Previously, Adrianna held a Wellcome Trust Fellowship focused on improving measures of healthcare expenditure and financial protection in these contexts. She has worked with partners in Ukraine including the WHO Ukraine Country Office and V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University on studies of the social determinants of health and healthcare expenditure. Adrianna has an SM in Global Health from Harvard University, School of Public Health and a BA in Social Psychology from the University of British Columbia.
