Alberto Portugal-Perez

Alberto Portugal-Perez is an Economist at the World Bank. He has worked on a variety of development and trade-related issues, such as trade costs, trade facilitation, and aid for trade, FDI, standards, food prices, and regionalism. He is currently working on aid effectiveness, concessional borrowing and fragile states. He is the author of academic articles published in international refereed journals and books. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Geneva in Switzerland.
