Alexandra de Gendre is the 2022 McKenzie Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Economics of The University of Melbourne. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Maastricht University (The Netherlands) and she holds a M.Sc. in Statistics from Ensai (France) and a M.Sc. in Economics from Humboldt University (Germany). She is interested in applied microeconomics, applied econometrics and the formation of human capital. She is also interested in meta-science and methods to improve the reliability of our empirical research findings. She is affiliated with the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) and with the Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence for Children and Families over the Life Course.
