Andrea Cerrato is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. His fields of interest are Macroeconomics, Economic Geography, and Labor Economics. He is a Research Fellow at the Macro Policy Lab and at the UC Berkeley Opportunity Lab. He is also the Co-Founder of the Local Opportunities Lab and Tortuga Think Tank. Prior to his Ph.D., he worked as a Research Professional at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Bocconi University and an M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
