Economist and Data Scientist at Accenture Strategy

Angus Moore is an Economist and Data Scientist with Accenture Strategy (formerly AlphaBeta Advisors). His professional and research interests center on bringing novel large-scale microdata to policy and commercial questions. Over the past two years he has led work looking at how small businesses and consumers have been affected by COVID using large-scale commercial datasets from Xero, the small business accounting platform and credit bureau illion. As part of his work with Xero, he helped Xero to use their data to build their small business insights program and small business index Prior to his work with AlphaBeta, he was a central banker at the Reserve Bank of Australia for 5 years, where he held roles in the research, forecasting and labour market teams. He holds a Honours Degree in Economics (First Class) from the University of Adelaide and Bachelor of Laws.
