Anna Aizer is an Associate Professor of Economics at Brown University. The focus of her research is understanding the mechanisms behind the strong intergenerational persistence of poverty. More specifically, she studies the role that family violence, health, stress and human capital investment patterns play in perpetuating poverty across generations.
