Barbara Bratta

Tax economist at Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance

Barbara Bratta is a tax economist currently working for the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance – Department of Finance. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bologna and at present she is the Italian delegate in the OECD Working Party on Tax Policy Analysis and Tax Statistics. She also previously joined the OECD in the Business Tax Unit. She carries out analyses on MNEs' profit shifting behaviour, she estimates the impact of the introduction of national tax policies and of the international corporate income tax reform while also being part of the team developing an Italian computable General Equilibrium Modelling focused on taxation (ITAXCGE-DF).
