Brian Flannery is a Center Fellow at Resources for the Future. He retired from Exxon Mobil Corporation as Manager Science, Strategy and Programs. He has served as Lead Author IPCC Working Group III (TAR, FAR); Vice Chair, Environment and Energy Commission, International Chamber of Commerce; and Co-chair of the International Energy Committee, United States Council for International Business; and on numerous advisory panels, including the Stanford Engineering School, NATO Science Committee, and US DOE and EPA. He helped create the Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change at MIT and the Global Climate and Energy Project at Stanford University.
