Carmen is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Warwick. She researches topics in urban economics, and law and economics.
From January to July 2023 she visited the University of Chicago as a Fulbright scholar. In October 2023 she will join the Institute for Fiscal Studies as a PhD researcher.
Alongside her doctorate she collaborates with the Metropolitan Police Service in policy evaluations of police operations.
