Catalina Martínez Hernández

Catalina Martínez Hernández is an Economist in the Prices and Costs Division in DG Economics. Previously, she worked at the Monetary Policy Research Division in DG-Research, the Forecasting and Policy Modelling Division, and the Supply Side, Labour and Surveillance Division, both in DG Economics. She holds a PhD in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin. She is an applied time series econometrician with special interest on Bayesian methods. Her research covers topics related to analysing the drivers of inflation, macroeconomic forecasting, and monetary policy.
