Christian Kubitza

Christian Kubitza is a Senior Economist in the Financial Research Division of the European Central Bank. His primary research interests include the areas of financial intermediation and corporate finance. In his research, he has focused on topics such as insurance companies, corporate bond markets, and central clearing of derivatives. Christian received a PhD in Finance and Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt in 2018 and was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bonn before joining the ECB in 2022.
