Diego Vila is a PhD candidate in Economics at the European University Institute and holds an MSc in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam. His research interests lie in the fields of Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, Fiscal Policy and Financial Stability. Diego has worked as a Research Assistant at the Economic and Monetary Union Lab at the Robert Schuman Center of the EUI and at the DG of Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability European Central Bank.
